Stroud Mansion
The Monroe County Historical Association, headquartered in the 
historic 1795 Stroud Mansion, is located at the corner 
of 9th and Main Streets in downtown Stroudsburg.  
The mission of the MCHA is to promote, protect and preserve the rich 
history of Monroe County for residents and visitors alike.
 
Hours:
9:00 am – 4:00 pm Tuesday through Friday
10:00 am – 4:00 pm 1st and 3rd Saturdays
Closed Sundays and Mondays

One-hour guided tours of the Stroud Mansion 
are offered at
10:00 am and 2:00 pm.


Directions to the Stroud Mansion:

From the South and West: Route 80 East, exit at Main Street (Exit 305). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right on Main Street. Go to the second traffic light.  The Stroud Mansion is the large building on the left corner of 9th and Main Streets.  On street parking only.
 
From the North and East: Route 80 West, exit at Broad Street (Exit 307).  At the ramp, turn right. At first traffic light, turn left onto Ann Street.  Go to first traffic light and turn right onto 7th Street. Go to first traffic light and turn left onto Main Street.  Go to second traffic light and turn right onto 9th Street.  The Stroud Mansion is on the corner of 9th and Main Streets. On street parking only.
